It's that time of year where I tend to do more studio work and look for new models. Today I'm sharing my latest test shoot I did with my new friend Nimbus. Check out the post for more!
One of my favorite aspects of my photography is trespassing. There's just something about passing a "Do Not Enter" sign while walking into an abandoned building that makes it worth the risk. Especially when it comes to getting a great shot. Sometimes you just HAVE to hop that fence, climb that ladder, or hop over the hole with the 20 ft drop inside the abandoned warehouse that you almost didn't notice. It's amazing what can come from having a good sense of "Fuck It" from time to time.
My latest shoot with Crissie is a perfect example of letting an idea snowball from a basic concept into something that 's not only more fun but also more challenging for me to pull off. My original idea was simple. A summer time fun neighborhood chick that's more cute than sexy. Capture some child-like fun and probably catch some nostalgia. I chose Crissie to be the model who took the idea further by suggesting she play a "chola". I didn't know what the fuck a "chola" was at the time, so I consulted my good friend and knowledge of all slang, The Internet.
Sorry for the delay but with the July 4th holiday and me being Cincinnati all of last week for work, shit ain't get posted. Get over it. I’m here now. Plus, you’re not here for excuses you want pictures with a lil bit of story wedged right between em'. At least I hope so because that’s all I brought back for you guys. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It's fun being spontaneous sometimes.Especially when it comes to shooting. My girlfriend Brittani was in town a couple of weeks ago, and it was a beautiful day outside, so we decided to take advantage. I picked a location, she picked her outfit, and we went from there. Check out the post to see the photos.
